Caring for a vintage heat transfer:
If your transfer starts to lift off the fabric. 
lay it flat and cover with parchment paper. 
Set your iron to cotton setting and apply heat & light pressure for 10 seconds. Remove iron and press down on the heated area with a dry cloth. 
Once cooled. Slowly and carefully peel away the parchment paper.
