Features of "Lucky 13":

  • Panther Pack F-105 Thunderchief 13th Tactical Fighter Squadron patch.
The squadron's mascot was a full-grown black panther (Asian leopard), named Eldridge. The name Eldridge was chosen as a nod to Eldridge Cleaver who served as the Minister of Information for the Black Panther Party. Eldridge was kept in a large cage near the Squadron building and often taken for walks around the Base. Although tame, he was still a wild animal and after the war was given to the Phoenix Arizona zoo in 1973.

  • Vintage 1940's WWII USS Mississippi EAG-128 "Pirates" patch.
Mississippi provided gunfire support for the Lingayen landings in January 1945 and for the conquest of Okinawa in March-June. The battleship was damaged by suicide planes in both operations. She was present in Tokyo Bay on 2 September 1945, when Japan formally surrendered and returned to the United States soon thereafter.

  • "Peace Medal" Original piece created by Johnny featuring 1960's peace charm.
  • Vintage 1960's 1st Infantry Division patch. One of the first two divisions sent to defend the Republic of Vietnam in 1965. For five years they fought in the jungles northwest of Saigon.

  • Vintage Style DEVIL Biker Motorcycle patch
